Asso dei dancefloor di mezzo mondo, geniale miscelatore di sonorità electro e ritmi spezzati è conosciuto ovunque come performer eclettico e originale.
Da sempre rispettatissimo membro delle scene electro e dnb internazionali, è stato proclamato dj n.1 per la drum and bass nella top 100 dei djs di tutto il pianeta elaborata quest'anno da DJ MAG.
Già ospite a Torino negli anni passati, i Dreamers in collaborazione con Switch oggi riportano questo sexy-producer in consolle a far battere i muri del Jam Club e i cuori dellenostre junglettes.

Bio:
Se non siete incappati in John B sotto uno dei suoi tanti alias musicali negli ultimi dieci anni,
dove eravate? Questo super-producer inglese da anni continua a proporsi come l'individuo più
eclettico ed originale capace di produrre musica elettronica. Rifuggendo espressamente ogni
categorizzazione, il catalogo di John B definisce uno stile a sè stante, che si estende attraverso
i mondi dell'Electro, del Punk Rock, fino alla Trance, alla Drum'n Bass e ad alcuni altri spazi
all'interno dello spettro dei Bpm.
La sua carriera inizia in modo illustre, in quanto il pioniere Goldie raccolse questo biondo
e mite laureato in scienze e le sue particolari produzioni drum and bass, includendolo
immediatamente nella leggendaria label Metalheadz. Tracce come la fantastica "Up All Night"
divennero importanti hit e anche nel mondo costantemente in movimento della drum and bass
continuano a venir suonate e ballate oggigiorno.
John B divenne istantaneamente un nome di spessore sui flyers di tutto il mondo, e i calendari
dei suoi tour sono rimasti da quel momento sempre pieni. Mai come al livello di oggi, John B
raggiunge una media all'incirca di 120 apparizioni all'anno, in club e festival dovunque nel
mondo.
L'apertura di un suo proprio gruppo di etichette (Beta Recordings, Tangent, Chihuahua e
Nu_Electro) che potessero riflettere i suoi diversi orientamenti dalla Liquid Funk al Latin, ha
rappresentato per John B una perfetta piattaforma per lo sviluppo delle sue spericolate
sperimentazioni sonore.
Dal suo studio e quartier generale in Maidenhead, Gran Bretagna, John ha d'allora saputo smuovere
le acque in tutto il mondo della dance music. Dopo aver raccolto alcune delle prime produzioni
trance di John B, il boss della Label Perfecto, la superstar Paul Oakenfold gli ha commissionato
alcune tracce finite in seguito accanto a pezzi di Madonna e Justin Timberlake nell'epica Great
Wall compilation. John ha anche ostentato la sua passione per l'elettronica degli anni 80 ben
prima che la moda fashion saltasse sul carrozzone. Da tempo si preoccupa di collezionare e
pubblicare pezzi electro-step nella sua label più recente, Nu Electro, trovando supporto dai pezzi
grossi della scena electrohouse come Larry Tee, Mark Moore e Tommie Sunshine.
John B si èassicurato un'audience veramente globale, grazie sopratutto a Internet e ad una
enorme quantità di musica di qualità. Il suo sito www.john-b.com include ogni cosa, dal suo blog personale
fino alle anteprime audio più esclusive, un videoblog e osceni reportage fotografici dai suoi tour.
